Group orders at ACI have picked up sharply, and most of the people asking about them are asking the same question: what does the process actually involve? The answer is shorter than most people expect. One contact point, one invoice, one confirmation — and every person in the group is certified without touching a payment screen themselves.
That’s the entire point of a group order. It replaces a dozen separate signups, a dozen separate credit card entries, and a dozen separate confirmation emails with one transaction that a single person manages on behalf of the whole team.
How a Group Order Actually Works
Step one: reach out. Contact ACI directly, or fill out the group order contact sheet on our website. Either way, we need one piece of information from you upfront: how many certifications your group needs, and which ones — ACLS, PALS, BLS, or a mix.
Step two: we confirm. Once we’ve got the count and the certification types, we confirm the order details with you directly. Nothing moves forward until you’ve signed off on exactly what’s being purchased.
Step three: invoicing. After confirmation, you’ll receive an invoice from our third-party payment vendor, Stripe. This is a single invoice for the full group — not one per person.
Step four: payment and instructions. Once payment goes through, you get a detailed email walking through exactly what happens next. You’ll be able to send out these instructions to the entire group – no tracking anyone down to give them their “code.”
Step five: individualized codes. Each person in your group receives the same code that your group sets. They enter it during checkout, and the system recognizes the group has already paid — no individual is asked for a credit card, and no one has to front the cost and get reimbursed later.
That last part is the piece most groups care about most. The person coordinating the order is the only one who touches payment. Everyone else just enters a code and starts their course.
